Sojourn Leadership Academy is designed for early- to mid-career professional women who are interested in strengthening their leadership capacity and expanding their impact within their organizations and the broader Dayton community.

YWCA Dayton Sojourners are a dynamic group of professional women nominated in recognition of their leadership qualities and potential to become community influencers toward equality and social justice. Following an intensive, mission-driven nine-month program, our Sojourners graduate uniquely prepared to serve on nonprofit boards, be educated advocates, and act as equity leaders in the Miami Valley.

What happens next:

• All applicants, whether nominated or applying directly, are considered through the same selection process. Finalists for each year’s class are selected by the all-volunteer Advocacy Committee.

• Applicants may not be currently serving on the YWCA Dayton Board of Directors. Women from diverse backgrounds, sectors, and experiences are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
