Volunteers helped YWCA Dayton raise more than $2,000 through a partnership with the annual Dayton Turkey Trot.
We’re proud to continue to be the charity beneficiary of the annual race in Dayton. YWCA Dayton receives a donations for every participant who signs up and plus donations made during the race.
As part of this partnership, YWCA agrees to recruit volunteers for the race who will help with tasks like registering runners, serving as course marshals, and running water stations.
“We had many groups come out to support the event, — even kids who came with their families and had fun running race shirts back and forth,” said Felicity Nolder, YWCA Dayton community relations coordinator.
Beyond the Turkey Trot, YWCA Dayton relies on more than 5,000 volunteer hours a year to help with essential fundraisers, services, and programming.
