Weekly online group chats for sexual assault survivors and friends/family are held in partnership with RAINN. As an affiliate partner of RAINN, YWCA Dayton is able to use RAINN’s technology to manage its own online support group, or HelpRoom. HelpRoom is an anonymous, confidential online group chat option that allows those who have been affected by sexual violence to connect with one another. Your story matters. YWCA Dayton and Family Services/Womanline are proud to collaborate on this monthly support group for survivors of sexual assault. Held every first Tuesday at Family Services in Moraine, groups are facilitated by trained, trauma-informed, confidential advocates. Survivors of all gender identities over the age of 18 are welcome. No RSVP necessary; no cost to attend.

Girls LEAD! continues it’s virtual experience with a “What’s Going On” chat for girls 11-14 years old. It will allow girls to have real conversations about how they’re doing and what’s happening in their lives, check in with Girls LEAD! staff, and empower them to have a voice in how the program moves forward.
