Stand Against Racism

2018 Stand Against Racism
Thursday, April 26, 2018
Noon-2 p.m.
Courthouse Square, downtown Dayton (corner of North Main and West Third streets)

Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to provide opportunities for issue education, advocacy, and community building amongst those engaged in racial justice work. YWCA Dayton’s Stand includes a rally, information fair, “selfie station” activity, and more. Free and open to the public; rain or shine.

More About SAR: This April marks YWCA's 11th annual Stand Against Racism, and this year, we are focused on a very important theme: Our Power, Our Mission, Our Future. Voting rights and civic engagement are, and have always been, core components of racial justice work. We look forward to focusing this year’s campaign on supporting full access and engagement for women and girls of color in the political process. These issues are complicated, but anyone can take a Stand Against Racism. Learn more at http://standagainstracism.org.
