Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to provide opportunities for issue education, advocacy, and community building amongst those engaged in racial justice work. YWCA Dayton’s Stand includes a rally, information fair, “selfie station” activity, live radio broadcast by 92.1 WROU with Faith Daniels, food trucks, and a special "Minute with a Mentor" Women of Color Leadership Q&A station. Free and open to the public; rain or shine.
More About SAR: This April marks YWCA's 10th annual Stand Against Racism, and this year, we are focused on a very important theme: Women of Color Leading Change. We will celebrate women of color leaders from various sectors and explore solutions to the barriers women of color face. These issues are complicated, but anyone can take a Stand Against Racism.
