Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault 101: A Rural County Perspective | May 25, 2017

Women in rural areas are nearly 10% more likely to experience intimate partner violence. Join YWCA Dayton’s Preble County Office for its first-ever Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault 101: A Rural County Perspective.

This four-hour training – presented by YWCA Dayton staff: Jenna Hall, Preble County Case Manager; Kristi Uber, Sexual Assault Advocate; and Nanette Davis, Clinical Coordinator – will provide an introduction to domestic violence and sexual assault, highlight local statistics, and leave participants with specific action items they can use as community advocates and/or service providers.

$25/person. Space is limited; advance registration required.

An annual business meeting of the YWCA Board of Directors – which features transition between outgoing and incoming members as well as special recognitions – featuring a networking reception and building tours.
